ann_leckieWell, I didn't get any writing done today. Kids, house stuff, etc. And I won't get any done tomorrow, either, since Mr. Cameron has odd work hours which will interfere with my writing time. Maybe it's for the best. It was so hard and frustrating yesterday, maybe I need a day's break. Sometimes my brain does that.
In other news, CJ Cherryh reports that she's finished with the seventh Foreigner book. Now, this is exciting. Sabina (an associate from a message board I frequent) has suggested emailing her to ask for the first sentence. Ms Cherryh has obliged us in the past, and might now. But would it be more or less torture to know the first sentence and have to wait until at least November for the second? And third. And...
Well, you get the picture. Meanwhile, I'm not going to force myself to produce anything tonight, I'm going to put the sheets in the dryer (although Paidhi Boy has been potty trained for quite awhile, he still has the occasional accident, and he naps in our bed) and make a cup of tea and sit down with a book. Something really cool. Like, say, Jack Vance's The Killing Machine. Yeah, you can't lose with the Demon Princes.
