Wow, the last few days have been...writing business-y. Three days, three rejections. But Monday's mail also yielded a check, which was good, and then shortly after that I learned that Helix wants "The Snake's Wife." Which pleased me greatly. I don't know when it will run, but watch this space.

This morning? The news that Paidhi Girl has sold a picture to Postcards from Hell. The five dollars will probably be spent on extra ice cream at the pool, or now that I think about it, another Warriors book. Or it may be hidden away in the piggy bank--it's up to her.
