I'm contemplating venturing out to an actual store today. Our (fake) Christmas tree is nearly as old as I am--my mom bought it when I was five, and I inherited it about six or seven years ago. Every year I think it's going to go to Fake Tree Heaven, and every year the thing has clung to functional existence somehow. Yesterday it occurred to me that the day after Christmas might be a good day to find a fake tree, but it was too late to go shopping. I might check around today, just for laughs, and see if there's anything to be had. I also want to get some coffee--I've never had anything to grind coffee with before, and I'm rather absurdly looking forward to grinding some in the Cuisinart thingy.
