Just testing

Paidhi Boy, who will eat about three things--plain noodles, chicken, and applesauce. Oh, four--yogurt. Anyway, today he was playing with his leap pad. And on the page for "M" there was a bowl of "Macaroni." He requested some for lunch, very enthusiastically. Now, you may be saying to yourself, macaroni is just a kind of noodle. That's true, but this child is very particular about his noodles. They must be plain, white--no colors. I once got tri-color pasta, thinking it would please him, and he very carefully picked out all the orange and green ones and ate the white ones. And the only acceptable sauce is red spaghetti sauce, which he calls catsup. In vain have I tried to interest him in that quintessential kids food, macaroni and cheese.
He ate two bowls of macaroni and cheese today. Add one more thing to the list. Hooray for variety, and small steps.
