Moving along. I got less writing time this morning than usual, mainly because Paidhi Girl had a dentist appointment. Just a checkup, but the dentist did find a very small cavity, which we'll have to have filled next week. Paidhi Boy was jealous of his sister's dental appointment, and has been asking when he can go. He also gave one of the fur real kittens a dental checkup this morning, including a very realistic imitation of the sound of that suction thing they use to get the spit and water out of your mouth.
Then, shaving off twenty minutes or so, was the fact that I was trying a new writing spot. I've been using Starbucks, right across the street from Paidhi Boy's nursery school, but someone recommended the new library at a university here, also very close to school. Their website says they welcome members of the public doing research there--and they have lots of lovely desks to use, and it's very quiet. And I won't have to buy a cup of coffee every time I go. It's very nice! But it's also a five minute walk from the nearest parking. Good for my health, I suppose, even though there's a loss of time. I think I'll use that spot more often, since it was so nice today.
With only about an hour and a half of actual working time, I didn't get as much done as I wanted to, but I do think I made some progress. So I'm slowly forging ahead, which is a good thing. Thank goodness I don't have to worry about the newsletter and publicity for NMC anymore! I just have to arrange the concerts, which is much less time-intensive, and the next one isn't for another three weeks or so.
