ann_leckieWell. Much better this morning.
The good thing about strep is that antibiotics clear it right up--you feel a million times better the next day. The bad part about strep is how bad you feel before the antibiotics clear it right up. Paidhi Girl, thank the gods, spent the entire evening in the top of the bunkbed reading Cats at the Campground for the second time. Paidhi Boy played Catz 5 and ate about half his weight in chocolate, dug out from the bottom of his (and his sister's) Easter basket. I didn't have the energy to stop him, but was sort of distantly grateful that it meant that I wouldn't have to fix dinner for him. Yes, I know, I'm a bad mom. I was also not capable of more than staring blankly at the computer screen until the kids got haphazardly tucked in, and then staggering to bed myself.
I didn't sleep very well, because of the decongestant, I think. But I still feel much better this morning. Still sick, but a definite improvement on yesterday. I think I might actually be able to stand up and get some things done today.
