Shouldn't there be some sort of ethical provision against whispering inaccuracies in the ears of brilliant, respected older people who happen not to be very clued in about the internet, and then using them as tools to enact personal vendettas?

I'd tell you the answer, but it's in some emails she sent me, and she won't give me permission to quote them. But I swear to you, the answer proves that I am a better person than Cory Doctorow.
