Woohoo! Calamari for supper!
Oct. 20th, 2007 01:59 pmI've just received word that Helix would like to buy "The God of Au."
Back when I first wrote it, I promised Paidhi Girl that when it sold, we would have calamari for supper. When I got the re-write request, I rather optimistically bought a bag of frozen calamari rings and stuck it in the freezer. Now I just need a recipe! Time for a fridge google.
Paidhi Boy, of course, will be having fish sticks. He does not approve of adventurous eating.

Date: 2007-10-22 01:45 pm (UTC)Oooh, congratulations!!! (And if you want to gross Paidhi Boy out some more, you can tell him about the black - with squid ink - quinoa seafood paella that Cho Girl gamely ate for dinner Saturday night ... of course, she's 15. But it really did look remarkably like a bowl of black marine gravel, particularly with the mussels scattered about on it.)
