Paidhi Girl: (as she sorts through the clean but unfolded laundry basket) "I can't find any socks!"

Me: "Well, keep looking. Or check the dryer, maybe."

Paidhi Girl "Oh, that gives me an idea! I'll look in my dresser."

Me: (drinks more coffee, refrains from speaking)

It's just me and the hubby at the old homestead currently, and, sad to say, where things belong is generally the last place we look for them too.

And when our daughter gets back in mid December, I'll be the one looking for my socks, and she's going to be the one rolling her eyes and drinking coffee.

*chuckle*

Yeah, kids are endlessly entertaining. My son's thought processes never cease to amaze me.

(Grinds you fresh coffee beans)
But you know how hard it is to find those things that are put where they're supposed to be.

In other news ...
I LOVE YOUR AVATAR!!! Please tell me that this is a stuffed animal I can find and buy! It's just way too cool! (Jumps up and down and spills the beans)

That is a stuffed animal that you can find and buy.

I almost have, but continue to fight temptation. It's a fuzzy velociraptor, of course, and in St. Louis they sell them at the Science Center. You can also get them online.

I was disappointed in the lack of feathers. But he's still such a cute little bugger.
