Are you coming to the Nebulas? If you are, I'll be the tall Englishman in the bar. I kinda have to cheer for Linda Nagata, because I copyedited her book for BVC - but I reckon I can cheer for two, so.

And yes, you totally have to cheer for Linda Nagata. :D I rather fear we'll both lose to Gaiman, but that's all right. I'm still kind of dizzy from even being nominated.

Heh. Get used to the dizzy thing, for you are nominated everywhere (but you know this; it's actually happening to you, while the rest of us just get to watch and enjoy).

I am kind of hopeful that the Nebs may be less susceptible to the Neil fan thing than more open popular-vote awards, but we'll see. It's going to be a fun weekend anyway. Last year's was splendid (and I do love this SFWA thing of holding it in the same place two years running; we get to go twice, and we learned from last year so we can push it harder for the benefit of local fans).

With any luck, I may even remember to bring my copy of AJ, to get you to scribble in it.
