ann_leckieTwo rejections in as many days. I expect a third shortly--over at Interzone Jetse says he's working on May 4 subs, and I subbed Au May 5. The dinos and Creation and Destruction (which Paidhi Girl calls "the fish baby story") are back out the door already, of course. I don't let them stay overnight if I can help it. Moment of amusement--the dinos were rejected by Analog, who addressed their letter to "Mr. Leckie."
You must go out immediately and get a copy of the current F&SF. Just do it! ( If you've got a subscription, you are allowed to wait for your issue to arrive, though it may already have. ) Turn to p. 147 and read the story there. Yay, Heather!
Now, when you're done reading Just Do It, surf over to Flashquake and check out Gravitational Simulations for Three Invisible Things by the inimitable James Trimarco, and The Mountain to Mohammed by E. C. Myers. James read Gravitational Simulations this past weekend at Wiscon, and it was a smashingly cool story. I haven't hit Eugene's yet, but I'm headed there now.
